The Sales Area Manager (SAM) is responsible for the development of the network of points of sales (external agents) who offer Ria in their stores and ensure they’re performing as expected.
The SAM will manage and guide the sales team scattered throughout a specific territory whose first goal is to expand the number of external agents and train them so they can offer Ria service in the best conditions.

 

The main responsibilities will include:
• Responsible for the performance and development of the Account Managers (AM): monitors the number of new clients signed and ensures all AM meet or exceed all activity standards: prospecting visits, appointments, presentations, proposals, signing, training and tracking. For that purpose, the SAM will have to spend significant portion of time in the field co-travelling with sales staff.
• Responsible of maintenance and growing of the agent´s production in his/her area.
• Conducts one-to-one review with all AM to build more effective communication, to understand, train and coach them in order to help improving their sales techniques and performance.
• Initiates and coordinates action plans to penetrate new markets.
• Maintains contacts with main clients to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
• Responsible for hiring, training and development, counseling, coaching, oversight and performance evaluation of the sales staff, and in general for all customer support of the business.

• 5-7 years of experience in the sales area, preferably in Money Transfer or similar financial services, part of it managing sales-oriented teams.
• Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
• Experience in developing and executing tactical sales plans including challenging objectives. Understands the principles of marketing, advertising cost-effectiveness and return on investment.
• Self-driven and results oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality and business profit.
• Highly organized and very effective management skills; demonstrated leadership, capacity to powerfully motivate the team.
• Fluent in English is mandatory.
• Driver license.
